Secondary | Do the Haka

The impressive Haka is a war dance performed by the original inhabitants of New Zealand, the Maoris. It is a combination of chanting and dancing. Even the national rugby team, the All Blacks, perform a Haka before every match, to strike fear into the hearts of their opponents.

What can you expect?

The stamping feet, rolling eyes and protruding tongues make this a scary spectacle. At this workshop, students learn exactly how it is danced and what words are chanted. This workshop can best be booked in combination with the Trip to Oceania guided tour.
