The museum has an elevator and a toilet for people with disabilities. At the entry of the museum there is also an elevator with which you can get in the museum. If you would like to be assisted with this then you can ask our cashiers.

The building
Parking
For disabled people there are two parking spots available on the parking terrain behind the museum. Upon showcasing your disabilities card you wil be able to make use of these parking spots. If you call us on the day of the museum visit then you will be able to park your car on the museum terrain.
Wheelchair & mobility scooter
Wereldmuseum Leiden is very accessible for wheel chair users.There are no steps and the elevator goes to all floors. The museum also has some push wheel chairs to use. Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit the museum with a mobility scooter.

Entry for guides
If you will be visiting the museum with a guide, then the entry is free when showing an OV-guide card.
Guide dogs
Taking dogs or other animals into the museum is not allowed, with the exception of an assitant dog ( SOHO dog) or blind guide dog, as long as they are on a leash.
Disabled people
The museum is accessible for visitors with a physical disability. The different floors are all accessible with an elevator and its doors open automatically. We also have weelchairs that are free to be used by our guests. A guide does not have to pay for the museum entry. If you contact us by telephone on the day of the visit then you can park your car on the museum terrain.
